The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions is recruiting Prosecutors.  Successful applicants must, on or before 19 November 2021, be enrolled as a Solicitor in the State or have been called to the Bar.  Candidates must have a detailed knowledge and understanding of the criminal law, particularly the legal issues which impact on the discharge of the prosecutorial function.  Candidates will also be expected to display good communication skills, an ability to work independently and in a team environment, and an ability to organise, prioritise and manage a legal caseload.

Shortlisting may apply.  Canvassing will disqualify.

The competition will be carried out in line with the codes of practice as published by the Commission for Public Service Appointments which are available at http://www.cpsa.ie/
