The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions is now accepting applications for the Legal Access Internship Scheme 2026, a collaborative initiative we are pleased to facilitate alongside the Law Reform Commission, the Office of the Attorney General, the Chief State Solicitor’s Office, and the Houses of the Oireachtas.
This two-month paid internship provides final year undergraduate law students from underrepresented backgrounds with the opportunity to:
- Gain practical experience in a public sector legal environment
- Work on legal research, drafting, and case preparation
- Build confidence and develop professional skills under the guidance of experienced mentors
- Contribute to projects that support access to justice and equality
